At Abulé, we rally around and emulate our Care Code of Conduct in everything we do, which helps us hold high standards in each and every interaction. Think about the Care Code of Conduct as the cultural norms of our village – we’re kind, caring, honest, ethical and value-driven. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of care to ensure each and every member is welcome, safe and supported.

The Care Code of Conduct is a set of norms and standards by which all Abulé members commit to operating. These agreements are focused on mutual respect and safety, especially for those most vulnerable in our community.
Every member of our community is ID verified, and we (the collective) vet every caretaker and member that joins our ranks. We take the time to form deep bonds with another to build a baseline of trust and promptly communicate should problems arise.
Optional background checks are provided in our platform for an additional layer of security. Community members may also provide vaccine and phone number verification, as well as live video identification verification.
As a peer-to-peer platform, we rely on each other to keep the community safe at all times. While caregivers are required to undergo ID verification, we strongly encourage them to undergo background checks to add an extra layer of trust. Ultimately, however, we want to encourage caregivers and community members to form deep relationships that enable genuine trust. Abulé provides a safety net by ensuring each member is thoroughly vetted before entering the community, but forming close connections is the ultimate key to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
Slip-ups happen. If community members feel that the Care Code of Conduct has been violated, or have any other questions or concerns regarding the trust and safety of the community, they are encouraged to reach out to the Abulé support team right away. We don’t waste any time in making sure our community is cared for, and we take your safety seriously. We will launch an investigation and come to a resolution with you and the community member.
